What is the single most important element of any Municipal sponsorship program? It’s your policy document. A policy will outline your objectives, guidelines, specific organization roles, solicitation parameters, approvals, and authorities. And equally important, policy will create transparency for your organization, your stakeholders, your audiences, and your business prospects. If your policy is not enabling you to achieve your program objectives, then it’s inhibiting you. This workshop will explore the various elements of a sponsorship policy, how they impact your sponsorship work, and what approach you can take to build a policy that drives sponsorship growth and success. Participants of this workshop are invited to share their current policy in advance for an opportunity to review as a case study.
