What is the WSC® Municipal Sponsorship Summit?
The WSC® Municipal Sponsorship Summit is one division of the overall Western Sponsorship Congress® group of events, Canada’s longest-running conference dedicated specifically to sponsorship marketing.
Other divisions include or have included the WSC® – Alberta Forum, WSC® One Day Workshop Series, and the WSC® Ontario Forum.
The WSC® Western Sponsorship Congress brand is wholly owned by the Partnership Group – Sponsorship Specialists® and licensed out to different operators to host.
The Conference
This day and a half conference is chocked full of speakers, industry experts, sector leaders, and folks with stories and insights to share. During the Conference Days at the WSC® Municipal Sponsorship Summit, you will be engaged with keynote speakers; interactive panel discussions, and key topic break-out sessions.

Host Venue for the Municipal Sponsorship Summit
Located just outside of downtown Peterborough, The McDonnel St Activity Center is a multi-purpose facility that offers community programs and the ability to host events for the city of Peterborough. The McDonnel activity centre is a staple for the city of Peterborough. The centre offers a beautiful a main banquet hall and subsequent multi-purposes meeting rooms, making it a great venue to host the Summit while providing a comfortable experience for our attendees.

Host Venue for the Municipal Showcase Evening
The Healthy Planet Arena is a multi-purpose facility that offers two ice surfaces for recreational hockey leagues, and a state-of-the-art banquet hall often used for meetings, and special events. It is fully furnished to host presentations, ensuring a positive experience for both presenting at the Municipal Showcase Evening, and for those in the audience. Having undergone a recent naming right change in 2020, it also presents a unique opportunity to offer tours of the facility with the team responsible for overseeing the naming right change.
